Arnel

One time, I was invited for an interview at Moog. Sometime  between the days of August, I don’t have any idea but It should be for qualifying for OJT of theirs. It was an exam and they were to made choice between two. Me and Arnel. I was not called back after that so It must be him. I was practicing memory retention during that time. Actually, I only apply the idea “Human memory do not forget things if we really try to remember things, we don’t forget things, we just did’nt try to remember that thing in the first place”. Up till now, I don’t know much except that he is a student from BETI College taking Industrial Engineering. He was quite old, that’s what he said. He said he also have taken up Computer Engineering in UB. He only have very few subject during the time and said it was only during evenings. I’m writing after 3-4 months of the encounter.  I just come up with the idea of writing this while preparing for an Exam with an instructor from AMA with the same name as his.

Celery

During a day from the past month (October), I have observed that I tend to get comfortably sleepy after eating a meal with a viand with a Celery in it. It happened to me like 4 times of different dates. On the other hand, I also observed that I tend to be more alive or awake (not energetic) after eating a number of native tomatoes. Here is some information about Celery:

Celery

Celery is a plant in the parsley family, having edible roots, leafstalks and leaves.

Celery is much more than a traditional summer salad ingredient. Available throughout the year, a little research on celery shows this versatile vegetable has very real health benefits and is worth adding to your weekly diet.

Celery Nutrition Info

Research has shown that celery contains blood pressure reducing properties. Celery contains active compounds called Pthalides which relax the muscles of the arteries that regulate blood pressure allowing these vessels to dilate. Pthalides also reduce stress hormones which can cause blood vessels to constrict.

Celery is an excellent source of Vitamin C with all its health benefits. Vitamin C can help to reduce cold symptoms or the severity of cold symptoms during the winter months. This important Vitamin helps to support the immune system and is a cold fighter!

Celery has a mild diuretic effect. It contains cancer fighting compounds that detoxify pollutants and cigarette smoke.

Celery is the best vegetable source of naturally occurring sodium. It is high in potassium. The high water content in celery makes it ideal for vegetable juicing.

Celery Trivia Facts

Some information about celery…

  • Don’t throw away celery that has been in your refrigerator a little too long and gone limp. Revive the stalks (or extend the shelf-life of fresh celery) by shaving a small amount off from the butt-end, soaking in luke-warm water (1/2 hr. or more), and refrigerating.
  • Originally a bitter, wild marsh plant ranging from Sweden south throughout Europe, celery was used over centuries for medicinal purposes “to purify the blood.”
  • The winner of an athletic event in ancient Greece was given a bunch of celery, much like flowers are given today
  • Celery has negative calories! It takes more calories to eat and digest a piece of celery than the celery has in it initially.
  • Celery has a long history of use, first as a medicine and then later as a food.

He put one worm in a glass of water and another in a glass of whisky.

The worm in the water lived, while the one in the whisky curled up and died..

“Alright son, what does it show you?” the father asked..

“Well dad, it shows you that if you drink alcohol, you will not have worms”=

Message 2:
